The main role of MNUC IT departments is to innovate and implement creative ideas to improve education. We play a central role in the integration of technology in teaching, learning, research, extension and administrative processes.

Information and Communication Technology Department Functions

Service Delivery:

ICT section is charged with ensuring the availability of IT applications and user support administration at the University College. The ICT Helpdesk falls under this section.

System Management:

We manage innovations, new application development and system implementation or rollout.

Infrastructure – Networks:

To ensure the integrity of the network by continually updating network system security to provide for latest protection against viruses and other types of network vulnerabilities.

Hardware and Software:

Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to equipment. To manage the school’s hardware and software.

Website Developments:

The ICT section helps MNUC manage its website. We oversee the website’s functionality, evaluate and manage website performance, facilitate hosting and server management, and develop, maintain and update website content.

Inventory Management:

To keep an inventory of equipment, computers, software licenses, and others.
